Allconnex Water is actively involved in the planning and delivery of infrastructure and research projects to meet our customers’ needs and ensure the water and wastewater infrastructure we provide is sustainable and has the capacity to meet future growth needs.
A number of projects are in the delivery phase while planning is underway for a number of other projects.

Maintenance projects
Maintaining and upgrading infrastructure is imperative to our daily operations to provide safe, reliable and high quality water and wastewater services to our customers.
This includes maintenance and upgrades to the Allconnex Water distribution and retail infrastructure as well as other works our Water Grid partners undertake.
Infrastructure projects
Infrastructure upgrades, the construction of new assets and the provision of additional water services, including dual reticulation, form a key part of Allconnex Water’s approach to a sustainable water future.
Allconnex Water has four main alliances to help with infrastructure planning and delivery:
Major projects
Allconnex Water is implementing an array of major projects to ensure the community has a high standard of water supply and wastewater service.
Allconnex Water pressure and leakage management programs are essential ongoing operational projects helping to protect our water network and reduce the overall cost of water supply.
Research projects
Research is essential to improve water services. It provides an opportunity for Allconnex Water to collaborate on projects that will benefit the community and the environment. Allconnex Water faciltates and supports research and development with industry, government and educational institutions.
