Pimpama Coomera Waterfuture - residents and businesses

The Pimpama Coomera Waterfuture Master Plan guides the implementation of a fully integrated urban water management strategy in the Pimpama Coomera region, including the introduction of alternate water sources such as Class A+ recycled water and rainwater tanks.

The Master Plan places a greater emphasis on protection of the environment through improved stormwater management using Water Sensitive Urban Design. The Master Plan is the largest Integrated Urban Water Cycle Management Program undertaken in Australia.

The population of the Pimpama Coomera region is expected to grow to approximately 120,000 by 2056. This growth requires careful management of the many natural water resources in the area. The Master Plan provides guidance in the proactive management of these water resources.
