How do I apply to connect to town water?

Refer to Connecting my new home to obtain an application for the relevant district you wish to connect in.


Is town water available to my property?

Please contact Allconnex Water on 1300 000 WATER (1300 000 928) to find out.


How long will it take before my water meter is installed?

In most cases, this will take up to three weeks.


Will Allconnex Water connect to my existing plumbing installed by my builder?

No, you will need a plumber to do this.


Where will my water meter be installed?

In most cases, Allconnex Water installs water meters on the property boundaries, either left or right, however upon application and considering development needs, Allconnex Water will look at other proposals.


How do I obtain a new wastewater junction for a second dwelling on my land?

After having received approval from your local council for this new dwelling and after having received plumbing and drainage approval, you can apply to obtain a quote for this work to be completed. This will need to be paid for before any work is undertaken.


How do I raise a wastewater manhole/access chamber on my property?

You need to complete the application form on the Allconnex Water website Connecting my new home and we will provide a quote to do this work.


How do I obtain a new commercial water meter and metered fire service?

After obtaining approval from your local council for the new commercial dwelling and after having received plumbing and drainage approval, you can apply to obtain a quote for this work to be completed. This will need to be paid for prior to any work being undertaken.
