Residential high water users program
If your household uses more than 1200 litres a day, the Queensland Water Commission requires Allconnex Water to advise you of usage exceeding 1200 litres per day under the Permanent Water Conservation Measures which currently apply.
Households that exceed 1200 litres per day will be alerted via post and provided with educational material to assist with monitoring and managing water consumption.
There may be a valid reason for high water use, such as water leaks, high number of residents living in the household, medical conditions, home business, animal husbandry or other exceptional circumstances which may exclude/exempt households from the program.
Permanent water conservation measures now apply in all South East Queensland areas, including Brisbane City, Gold Coast City, Ipswich City, Lockyer Valley Regional Council, Logan City, Moreton Bay Regional Council, Somerset Regional Council, Sunshine Coast Regional Council, Scenic Rim Regional Council and Redland City Council.
