Metered standpipe readings and issuing of accounts
Long-term metered standpipe
Allconnex Water will read the metered standpipe on a designated date at an agreed location. Readings are entered in the Standpipe Meter Reading Book. The customer signs to acknowledge the date and reading are correct and retains the original copy. The information is then entered into a database for the issuing of an account.
Non-presentation of the metered standpipe at Allconnex Water’s request could result in the metered standpipe being withdrawn from the customer or an infringement issued.
Short-term metered standpipe
On the return of the metered standpipe, Allconnex Water will read the meter. The customer will sign to verify the date and reading. This information is then entered into the Allconnex Water database for the issuing of an account.
Where there is doubt concerning the accuracy of a reading or Allconnex Water suspects the meter may be faulty, we will arrange for testing of the metered standpipe or replace the metered standpipe with one in good working condition. Allconnex Water's records will be adjusted accordingly.
