Recycled water is derived from wastewater. Stringent environmental and health guidelines are in place to ensure recycled water is used appropriately.
Recycled water is used for non-drinking purposes. It is climate resilient, reliable and an alternative to potable (drinking) water.
Using recycled water reduces the:
- Amount of wastewater released into the environment.
- Amount of nutrients entering our seaways and improving its health.
- Demand on potable (drinking) water reserves.
Allconnex Water has a range of recycled water products. These include:
- Class A+ recycled water by dual reticulation.
- Class A to C recycled water products to industrial/commercial customers.
