Allconnex Water CEO Andrew Foley

Andrew was previously Allconnex Water General Manager Strategy and Development. He has worked for more than 10 years in the water industry in a range of areas and was part of the management team at the former Gold Coast Water.

Andrew has a strong strategic and commercial background. His experience includes a number of key strategic project management and directive roles in local and state government.



Chief Operations Officer Paul Heaton

Paul has more than 20 years' experience and vast knowledge in a number of fields from irrigation and soil management, catchment management, dam construction, emergency relief work and water reuse, to coastal engineering.


Chief Financial Officer Melinda Bailey

Melinda comes to Allconnex Water with a strong commercial and financial management background. At Allconnex Water, Melinda manages a full range of financial requirements of the business, external audit, tax, treasury, financial and management accounting functions.


General Manager Customer Service Brian Wrice

During his career Brian has been responsible for many large customer service programs delivered at a national and international level. Brian has also designed and managed change initiatives with significant success on the impact on staff and their work, including the transition of staff between employers.

 

General Manager Human Resources Wayne Merrotsy

Wayne comes to Allconnex Water with a broad and longstanding background in Human Resource Management. Wayne has been successful in a number of strategic roles in challenging environments and large companies. At Allconnex Water, Wayne manages human resource services, occupational health, learning and development as well as workforce planning.


General Counsel Jane Nant

Jane has extensive experience in property, development, environment and planning law. At Allconnex Water, Jane manages board support, insurances, legal services, internal audit, risk and compliance.


Chief Information Officer Nina Meyers

Nina has an array of knowledge and management experience in the ICT environment. Nina has worked in very large companies and in strategic roles for large projects. At Allconnex Water, Nina manages the IT business needs, which include council-provided systems, business applications, operational systems, system support and helpdesk as well as planning for future IT systems.


The Board of Allconnex Water

The Board guides the business's strategic direction on behalf of the Gold Coast, Logan and Redland Councils, who jointly own the business.

Allconnex Water Chairman of the Board Mark WilliamsonMark Williamson has been appointed Allconnex Water Board Chair by Allconnex Water’s three participating councils – Gold Coast City Council, Logan City Council and Redland City Council. With more than 25 years’ experience in non-executive director positions on a range of Boards, including those of public sector utilities, Mark is well placed for his new role. Mark has held senior roles over the past 30 years in sales, marketing and general management in industries including energy, information technology, airlines and telecommunications. Mark is currently a Board member of CS Energy Ltd, where he is also the Chair of its People and Safety Committee. He is also a Board member of government-owned organisation Transmax Pty Ltd.

 

Board member, Andrea Staines

Andrea Staines holds a number of Board positions and Non-Executive Directorships, including with some organisations that deliver infrastructure. Her experience as former CEO of Qantas subsidiary Australian Airlines has developed her high level corporate, commercial and business leadership capabilities. She has strong commercial experience in a CEO position and extensive experience in sales and marketing strategy, based on a solid foundation of finance and economics. Her industry experience in retail services is diverse and includes airlines, tourism and leisure, and childcare and is complemented by her experience in transport infrastructure and operations, both passenger and freight. Andrea has studied and worked in Australia, the U.S. and Asia.

Board member, Bob Pentecost


Bob Pentecost
has been at the forefront of Australian infrastructure development for the past three decades. He was previously Director of Hamilton Island Ltd and has experience as a CEO within large infrastructure development organisations including Darling Harbour. He is currently the Non-Executive Director of Sydney Water and contributes an engineer's passion for infrastructure development delivering sustainability and performance. He holds a Member of the Order of Australia for services to the building and construction industry.

 

Board member, Sibylle Krieger

Sibylle Krieger has had a highly successful and broad commercial career as a lawyer culminating in 2008 when she was a partner in Clayton Utz. She brings experience as a commissioner with a major New South Wales economic regulator and a strong understanding of water reform, water distribution and water retail. She has had extensive dealing with governments and has an acute understanding of accountability and corporate governance.

 

 

Board member, Kelvin Spiller

Kelvin Spiller was previously CEO of Maroochy Shire Council, and of the Endeavour Foundation, and has extensive experience of the water industry and a solid understanding of water reform in SEQ. He is currently Chairman of the Queensland Local Government Grants Commission and was founding Chairman of the National Local Government Sea Change Taskforce and Disability Professionals Queensland Taskforce. He has chaired a number of advisory boards and has a deep understanding of corporate strategy and governance, infrastructure management and development, and the operation of a highly regulated industry.
